Hello,

I am some English and French speaking guy from Ottawa, Ontario and I
came across the above song. At first I thought it might be a cover of
the Bruce Springsteen song Rosalita, but it seems to be something
different.

Does anybody feel like writing what the song is going on about. What
does the chorus mean. "Rosalita, Natasha og Ailo a hans. ..." The
English lyrics say

??Me, I'm wah wah?? fences, The sun's going down
Your eating your rations sitting on the ground
You start counting the days until you get away
That campfire smoke brings tears to your eyes.
But I know that you know there will come a time
When the wheel of fortune will spin the other way around.

Rosalita, Natasha og Ailo a hans. ...

It's a great song. I really enjoy Marie Boine's singing. She first
came to my attention by her vocals in Jan Garbarak's "Evening Land"
which is a stunning performance.

Haven't heard it myself but it seems to be about protective feelings
triggered by
TV images of children having a rough time. Seems to be lot of
gobbeldygook but you
would need the opinion of a Norwegian to be sure.
